Amin and Khurram Manzoor provided the guts of the visitor’s effort, putting on 135 for the second wicket after Umar Siddiq had fallen early. Manzoor hit 82 off 128 balls before being given out lbw to offspinner Tharindu Kaushal.Amin was involved in a 51-run stand with Ali Asad after Manzoor’s departure, but was out on the brink of what would have been his 11th first-class ton. Kaushal claimed his wicket as well. There was little else of note in Pakistan’s batting card. He was, however, not entirely satisfied with his team’s performance on Thursday despite them posting their biggest win against India.”The best example (of the change in the Bangladesh team) is that India is sending their strongest team,” Hathurusingha said. “It speaks for itself, how far we have come from that series to now. It is always good to gauge your success or what you are doing, by how your peers are looking at you. I think it is a big rap for our boys that India came with their full strength. Our confidence is high, the way we are playing now is also a bit different.”During last year’s three-match ODI series, India were without regular captain MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami. For Mustafizur it is going to be a challenge because people get to know more and respect him a bit more. But again, he has to execute well, so has the batsmen. وقال إبراهيم المصري لـ”بطولات”: “بدأنا التحضير منذ أبريل الماضي مع جهاز فني جديد بالكامل، حدث تعارف مع باستور وفي شهر أكتوبر واجهنا منتخب ألمانيا مرتين، تعادلنا في لقاء وخسرنا الآخر لكننا ظهرنا بشكل مميز جدًا وكانت فترة إعداد مميزة”.

وأكمل: “منتخب مصر كان يعاني من الكثير من الغيابات في معسكر أكتوبر، وفي المعسكر الحالي واجهنا منتخب السعودية ولعبنا بشكل جيد وتم إشراك العديد من العناصر الجديدة، للحكم عليهم، وسنخوض بطولة ودية جديدة للتحضير لبطولة إفريقيا وهي بطولة قوية جدًا، وان شاء الله ربنا يكرمنا ونحقق لقب إفريقيا ونصعد للمشاركة في أولمبياد”.

وعن قدرة الجيل الحالي على تحقيق ميدالية أولمبية، أشار: “أرى أن الجيل الحالي مميز جدًا، سبق وأن حققنا مركز رابع في أولمبياد، لكن الموضوع صعب جدًا، الناس تطمع في تحقيق ميدالية لكن مثلما نحن نعمل هناك 16 منتخبًا قويًا عالميًا يعمل بجد من أجل نفس الهدف”.

وواصل: “هو مجرد تمني لكن في أرض الواقع الأمر صعب للغاية، مع ذلك نعدكم ببذل أقصى جهد لدينا لتحقيق ميدالية وعمل إنجاز رائع ونصبح أول لعبة جماعية تتوج بميدالية أولمبية”.

وحول تطور الأندية والمسابقات المحلية ودورها في قوة منتخب مصر، أوضح: “بكل تأكيد الدوري هذا الموسم مختلف وهذا مفيد، هناك أندية قوية مثل البنك الأهلي وسموحة والجيش والجزيرة، المنافسة قوية، وكذلك الأهلي والزمالك، الدوري هذا الموسم صعب جدًا، الحمدلله استطعنا في الأهلي الفوز بدوري أبطال إفريقيا للمرة الأولى منذ 2017 وحققنا لقب السوبر لتعويض الجماهير عن خسارة كأس مصر”.

واختتم: “ما زال هناك دوري وكأس وبطولة السوبر الإفريقي، أتمنى أن نفوز بها مثلما فعلنا الموسم الماضي”.

O Arbitral doCampeonato Carioca, realizado na segunda-feira passada na sede da FFERJ, determinou uma mudança a longo prazo para as próximas edições da competição. A partir do ano de 2022, a Seletiva não será mais realizada.

Os dois primeiros colocados da Seletiva de 2020 (que ocorrerá entre 21 de dezembro deste ano e 12 de janeiro de 2020) serão credenciados a disputar as Taças Guanabara e Rio. Já as outras equipes que não obtiverem classificação à fase principal formarão oGrupo X, no qual um time é rebaixado à Série B1.

As outras três equipes remanescentes disputarão, então, o Grupo Z, no qual a última colocada também amargará seu descenso para a Segundona do Estadual. Além disto, apenas a pior colocada da fase principal do Carioca terá de disputar a Seletiva na próxima edição.

No Carioca de 2020, a Seletiva abrigará America, Americano, Nova Iguaçu, Macaé, Friburguense e Portuguesa.

CRIAÇÃO DA SÉRIE A2 A PARTIR DE 2022

A edição de 2021 apresenta uma novidade quanto à Seletiva. Três vagas serão abertas para a elite do futebol carioca. Além do trio, os dois remanescentes do Grupo Z e a equipe que for eliminada na fase principal do Estadual disputarão esta fase.

A disputa na Seletiva de 2021 também será mais acirrada: apenas a primeira das seis equipes estará classificada para as disputas da Taça Guanabara e Taça Rio. As outras cinco equipes desclassificadas formarão uma nova divisão: a Série A2 do Campeonato Estadual.

Além destes cinco times, a Federação projeta o acesso de sete equipes da Série B1 para formar a nova divisão com 12 clubes. A partir de 2022, com a Série A2, a Seletiva do Campeonato Carioca (que existe desde 2017) será abolida.

Glamorgan took a strong grip over Derbyshire at Chesterfield despite another four wicket haul from England fast bowling hopeful Mark Footitt. National Selector James Whitaker was at Queen’s Park for the second day running to watch the left-arm paceman but it was Glamorgan’s batsmen who caught the eye as they scored more than 66% of their 410 for 9 declared in boundaries with former Derbyshire allrounder Graham Wagg making 62 from 64 balls.Wagg was one of four Glamorgan batsmen to pass 50 but Derbyshire responded well to reach 122 for 2 at the close, 288 runs behind with Billy Godleman unbeaten on 49 from 119 balls.Derbyshire needed a response after bowling poorly on the first evening but Colin Ingram was the only wicket to fall in a morning session reduced to 45 minutes by rain. The South African looked set for his maiden Championship century for Glamorgan until he tried to cut Footitt for his 20th boundary but carved the ball into the hands of deep-backward point.Craig Meschede passed 50 in the Championship for the fourth time this season and Derbyshire added to their problems when they dropped catches off consecutive balls. Shiv Thakor spilled a return chance when Meschede was on 60 and Godleman failed to hold on when Wagg edged Footitt to third slip when he had scored only 7.Dropping a player who had scored a double century and 94 in his previous two Championship games was always likely to prove costly and Wagg duly enjoyed himself again, driving Wes Durston’s offspin for successive sixes to reach 50 from 62 balls. Tom Taylor defeated another drive to uproot his off stump but Wagg and Lloyd had put on 87 in only 14 overs and Glamorgan continued to prosper from too many “four” balls to the extent that maximum batting points arrived in the 78th over.The declaration came nine balls after tea leaving Derbyshire with 40 overs to negotiate before the close and Godleman and Hamish Rutherford looked comfortable until a run out lifted Glamorgan. Godleman turned the ball into the leg side and called Rutherford through for a single but Ruaidhri Smith swooped on the ball in his follow through and hit the stumps with the New Zealander short of his ground.When Chesney Hughes played across one in Smith’s next over, Derbyshire were wobbling but skipper Wayne Madsen survived a dropped catch on 17 to help steer his side to within 139 runs of the follow-on target of 261 although Glamorgan are well placed to push for what would be a record fifth consecutive championship victory.”I think we are still on top, unfortunately we put down a chance tonight and there is a lot of work to be done,” Wagg said. “But there’s a lot still in the wicket so if we put the ball in the right areas we should pick up some wickets in the morning.”Rutherford added: “The first hour is key tomorrow and if we can get through the first 30 overs and only lose one that would be ideal to get back into it the game.”
