However, he was struck down by Dhawan immediately.After losing three wickets for nine runs to be 193 for 6, Tripura’s final five batsmen mustered 139 runs, with their No. 10 Rana Dutta scoring 43 off 68 balls with six fours. He was left unbeaten as Dhawan wrapped up the tail in his 30th over.Tripura’s opener’s were left 17 overs to bat and they played them out very cautiously, making only 20 runs. كشف أحمد سالم المتحدث الرسمي لنادي الزمالك، تطورات موقف أزمة أحمد فتوح لاعب الفريق مع القلعة البيضاء، بعد حضور التحقيق اليوم الثلاثاء.
وكان مجلس إدارة الزمالك قد قرر إحالة أحمد فتوح مع ثنائي الفريق مصطفي الزناري ومحمد صبحي إلى التحقيق وعرض الثلاثي للبيع بسبب عدم التزامهم بمعسكر الفريق قبل مواجهة زد في الدوري المصري.
وحضر أحمد فتوح اليوم التحقيق الخاص به داخل نادي الزمالك، وصرح بأنه متقبل قرارات النادي ومسألة العرض للبيع، لكنه طالب بالحصول على مستحقاته المالية كاملة.

وقال سالم خلال تصريحات عبر برنامج “كورة كل يوم” المذاع على قناة الحياة: “فيما يتعلق بأزمة أحمد فتوح، التحقيق منفصل تمامًا عن عرضه للبيع، اللاعب ما زال متعاقدا مع الزمالك لآخر الموسم”.
وأضاف: “إذا صدر عليه خصومات سيكون بناء على التحقيق، حتى الآن مجلس الإدارة على موقفه ومصمم على قراراته”.
وبشأن المدير الفني الجديد للزمالك خلفاً لـ الكولومبي خوان كارلوس أوسوريو، أوضح: “مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك أغلق هذا الملف بشكل مؤقت، لحين الانتهاء من مباراة بيراميدز في كأس مصر”.
وواصل: “سعيد بدعم جمهور الزمالك فيما يخص القرارات التربوية، أتمنى من جماهير الزمالك التشجيع يكون بكل قوة، أتمنى لا يتم فهم حديثي بشكل خاطىء التشجيع لفلسطين وغزة مطلوب ومهم جدًا ولكن اللاعبون في حاجة إلى دعم والتشجيع”.
ويستعد الزمالك بقيادة معتمد جمال، الذي تولى القيادة الفنية مؤقتاً خلفاً لـ أوسوريو، لمواجهة بيراميدز مساء غداً الأربعاء في نصف نهائي كأس مصر للموسم الماضي 2022-2023.

Australia Women’s coach Cathryn Fitzpatrick will step down from her role after choosing not to renew her contract, which expires in May.Fitzpatrick had guided the team to three World Cup titles during her tenure, which began in May 2012, will shift focus on coaching at the youth level. She was also open to be involved with the upcoming Women’s Big Bash League.”Cricket has been a big part of my life and I am very keen to stay involved with the game, but I want to concentrate on helping our next batch of youngsters coming through the system,” she said. “I also think I can play a role in building the new Women’s Big Bash League, hopefully through a coaching role with one of the teams.”It’s been a very rewarding period, helping develop a group of exciting young players and seeing them achieve great things on the world stage. We have had some time since our last international commitments and it has given me time to reflect on what I think is best for the players to continue their success. Right now I believe that a coach with a fresh approach will help them continue their rise and reach their potential.Pat Howard, the team performance manager, credited Fitzpatrick for lifting Australia to the No.1 ranking in ODI and T20 cricket. He also said Cricket Australia will search for a replacement, who could be based at the National Cricket Centre in Brisbane.”Cathryn has achieved great things with the national squad as Head Coach and before that as an Assistant,” Howard said. “She’s been instrumental in the team’s success.She leaves her post with the team clearly at the top of its game and as one of the country’s most admired sporting sides. O confronto
Os primeiros 15 minutos foram do Guarani. Mesmo na casa do rival, o Bugre habitou o campo do adversário e assustou Carlos Eduardo. Na principal chance, Michel Douglas carimbou o poste gaúcho na sobra do escanteio.
Aos poucos o Brasil de Pelotas acalmou o jogo e buscou mais a aproximação no campo de ataque, mas sem sucesso. O jeito foi arriscar de fora da área, mas Klever salvou o Bugre.
Nos minutos finais da etapa inicial, o Xavante teve a melhor oportunidade através de Marquinhos. No chute de fora da área, a bola passou rente à trave e assustou o arqueiro campineiro.
Aos 12 minutos do segundo tempo o Brasil de Pelotas teve um gol anulado. Guilherme Queiroz recebeu na grande área e mandou para o fundo da rede. O bandeira invalidou o tento, mas a impressão era de posição legal.
Tímido no ataque, o Guarani só chegou perto dos 30 minutos. Ricardinho pegou de primeira e Carlos Eduardo defendeu para segurar o placar inalterado.
Na chance derradeira do Brasil de Pelotas, Rodrigo Alves aproveitou o lançamento do goleiro Carlos Eduardo, invadiu a grande área e bateu por cima do gol de Klever.

Brendon McCullum’s second IPL century, his first for Chennai Super Kings, set up a big second win for the hosts. His 100 not out off 56 balls featured hits into the deserted disputed stands of MA Chidambram Stadium, two ramps for sixes over the keeper’s head, and scarcely believable reverse-pull to take him to 99 after IPL debutant Trent Boult saw he had shaped up for the ramp and bowled a slower bouncer. McCullum was helped along by a domineering 53 off 29 from MS Dhoni, who was more at home coming in at 135 for 2.Even through David Warner scored a fifty, Sunrisers Hyderabad never really got going against the Super Kings bowlers, who used the variable bounce to their advantage showing up a pretty insipid bowling effort from the visitors. Then again when McCullum is going hard at you, it is not easy to stick to your plans. He drove for four the second ball he faced, and his intent meant the Sunrisers bowlers forgot about using the new ball and the bounce. They were forced to bowl yorkers early in the piece, and with no wickets taken in the first four the others were under pressure too.Ishant Sharma made a good start, but he bowled four no-balls, which ruined his figures. Two of the free hits went for sixes, one for four, and the fourth for a single. Take the 17 runs off his figures and his three overs for 29 look decent. Boult, chosen ahead of Dale Steyn, was neutralised by the immense pressure the openers put him under. Karn Sharma’s flat legbreaks were now just cannon fodder.Ravi Bopara, chosen ahead of Eoin Morgan, slowed them down a little with two tight overs that also featured two run-outs. Dhoni, not in the best of touches, promoted himself and prodded along to 4 off 8. This was a moment where Sunrisers would have fancied coming back in. In the next over McCullum cut Bopara in the air, but sent it in front of square because of the slow pace. The other IPL debutant, Kane Williamson, ran in from deep cover, but dropped him. That was the end of the mini comeback.Dhoni took almost all of the strike, and to devastating effect. The bowlers neither had the pace to bounce him nor the accuracy to bother him. Over the next 22 balls Dhoni added four sixes and four fours to eight sixes and six fours that McCullum had already hit. By the time he fell in the 20th over, Dhoni had taken Super Kings to 198, and had left McCullum four balls to go from 89 to 100. The first ball was taken by Jadeja, who was run out but managed to turn the strike over. McCullum then sent the first – a low full toss – over the keeper’s head, and then the slower bounce over short third man to reach 99. The single off the last ball brought the packed house to its feet. The few that weren’t already, that is.Super Kings bowled a lot of cutters and bouncers to exploit the abrasive surface. Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul both fell to slower balls from Mohit Sharma, Warner was kept quiet by the lack of pace on the ball, and Sunrisers showed they had got their plans wrong, sending Williamson to bat in the 15th over. He came in at the fall of Warner, who had just reached his fifty, and was the only hope with the asking rate having reached three runs a ball. There was going to be only one winner from thereon.

West Indies would have to set a new record if they are to win the first Test against England but their coach Phil Simmons believes they can do it.Simmons knows that no team has ever successfully chased more than 418 to win a Test but feels that, on a flat Antigua wicket, his side can overhaul their target of 438.While Simmons admitted that West Indies had “given away” the initiative in the match on a couple of occasions, he described conditions as “easy” for batting and felt that, given a good start, they could create history.”We’re a team that scores quickly,” he said. “We’ll assess what we need in every session and make a decision whether to go for it at tea.”The first hour will be important: we need to not lose any wickets in the first hour. But with me it’s always a case of looking how you can get the runs before you look at how you can save it.”We saw today that it’s hard to take wickets on this pitch. It’s easy for guys to score. We scored freely.”Yes, they were on the attack all the time. But also when we tried to be on the defensive, Gary Ballance and Jos Buttler still scored freely, so it’s hard to contain batsmen when it’s as easy as that.”Despite feeling his side still had an outside chance of victory, Simmons conceded they had been given a lesson in the virtues of consistency by England.”England have shown us that we need to think a lot about the way we play Test cricket,” he said. “We started well on the first morning, but then we gave it away in the other two sessions.”And the same thing happened today. We didn’t bowl as well as we could have done this morning so they got away and, as a result, they have more time to bowl at us. But then we also have more time to score the runs.”Simmons also admitted that the balance of his side – containing only four specialist bowlers – might have contributed to West Indies fading in the field after good starts. But he expressed satisfaction at the “ability and character” he had seen within his side in his first game in charge.”It’s a little bit about that,” he said. “The bowlers had a hard first innings and then a hard few hours this morning. The players have had a long, sustained four or five months, so coming into this it’s hard.”We will learn more about the team tomorrow. We have to fight to the end whether we’re trying to win or save it.”But I have learned a lot. There is ability and there is character. We fought back on the second morning, so there are positives to take from this Test.”
