علق مصطفى عبده لاعب الأهلي الأسبق، على مصير مارسيل كولر المدير الفني للقلعة الحمراء خلال الفترة المقبلة، منوهاً لصعوبة موقف الفريق في بطولة الدوري المصري.
ومن المقرر أن يواجه الأهلي منافسه صن داونز يوم السبت المقبل في مواجهة من العيار الثقيل، تعيد للأذهان سلسلة من اللقاءات القوية التي جمعت بين الفريقين، خلال السنوات الأخيرة، وسط ترقب جماهيري كبير داخل القارة.
وقال مصطفى عبده في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة ام بي سي مصر2: “الأهلي في أزمة كبيرة جدًا، فقد فرصة الفوز بالدوري العام بنسبة 60 أو 70 %، ومن الممكن أن تحصل عليه أو لا، وأمامك في إفريقيا مباراتين صعبين جدًا وستواجه فرقة (رذلة) جدًا”.
وأكمل: “يجب على مجلس إدارة النادي أو المسؤول عن الكرة أن يجلس مع كولر واللاعبين ويشرح لهم أنه في خطر، ومن الوارد ألا تفوز بالدوري”.
وأضاف: “لكن يجب أن تلعب في الدوري وأن تكون متواجدا حتى ولو في المركز الثاني لأن بعد ذلك سنتواجد في بطولة الكونفدرالية، و(الكونفدرالية بتاعت مراكز شباب ودورات رمضانية)، وهي بطولة أقل أهمية من دوري أبطال إفريقيا ولكني لا أقلل من قدر الزمالك”.

وأردف: “كولر يعاند ويحب ويكره مع اللاعبين، وتوجد فجوة كبيرة بينه وبين اللاعبين، وما علمته أن الخطيب جلس معه هو ومحمد رمضان، من أجل الإصلاح”.
وواصل: “كولر يعرف كل شيء، والأهلي يبحث عن مدربين ولكن هو من وضع نفسه في هذا الإطار”.
وزاد: “ما أعرفه أن كولر سيستمر مع الفريق في 6 مباريات الدوري ولو الأهلي تلقى هزيمة صعبة من صن داونز الأهلي سيوجه الشكر لكولر”.
واختتم: “الأهلي سيتعاقد مع مدرب كبير جدًا ما بين المدرسة الألمانية والبرتغالية والأقرب المدرسة البرتغالية أكثر”.
وتأهل الأهلي إلى نصف نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا بعد التفوق على الهلال السوداني بنتيجة 2-0 في مجموع مباراتي ربع النهائي، بينما تخطى صن داونز عقبة الترجي التونسي بهدف نظيف، في مجموع الذهاب والإياب.

Having decided to stay put last summer instead of completing a move to Arsenal, Sesko has since solidified his place as one of the most exciting rising stars in European football. And now, one year on from rejecting the Gunners, he’s more ready than ever to depart Leipzig and complete a move to the biggest stage, which is where Manchester United could come in.
Just 21 years old, Sesko has been the star of the show ever since joining RB Leipzig and that has only remained the case in the current campaign with 11 goals and three assists from 23 games in all competitions. Earning deserved praise as a result, Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig dubbed the Manchester United target “the Slovenian weapon” back in October.
Signing Sesko would certainly be one way to steal the headlines away from Rashford’s potential exit and there’s no doubting the impact that he would also make on the pitch.

“أورلاندو بايرتس هو الفريق الوحيد الذي لم يهزم في البطولات القارية هذا الموسم، وهو إنجاز يجب على بيراميدز احترامه، خاصة بعد فوزه في الجزائر على شبيبة القبائل والمولودية، وأيضًا على الأهلي في القاهرة”.

2024, thankfully, is over. Few calendar years have been quite as grim for those of a Manchester United persuasion, even with a shock FA Cup triumph sandwiched in the middle.
Fresh from their worst-ever Premier League season, the Red Devils look hell-bent on beating that record amid what has been a frankly disastrous 2024/25 campaign to date, with Ruben Amorim’s men deservedly languishing in the bottom half of the table.
Six defeats in just 11 games under the new manager has seen United fail to even enjoy the typical ‘bounce’ after making a change in the dugout, with that record looking set to get even worse ahead of Sunday’s trip to face league leaders Liverpool on Merseyside.

Far too often shifted out onto the right flank during his days at Old Trafford, a string of managers seemingly never played to the playmaker’s strengths, with few talents in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era having possessed that level of silk and class. That ability to create something out of nothing.
It may not have been on show often enough, but Mata certainly did have his moments, none more so than on that glorious day in March 2015, as Van Gaal’s side romped to a 2-1 victory over their fiercest rivals.
Now, this wasn’t a Liverpool side to be feared, with then-boss Brendan Rodgers suffering from a post-Luis Suarez and post-title collapse hangover, but winning at Anfield – now a rarity these days – is never something to play down.
At the centre of that victory was the diminutive Mata, with the one-time Valencia star putting the visitors ahead with a rare right-footed finish in the first half, having been played in beautifully by compatriot, Ander Herrera.

While a late Daniel Sturridge strike, as well as a missed penalty from Wayne Rooney, sparked a somewhat nervy climax, United – inspired by their number eight – held on for all three points.
Of course, the current Liverpool crop provides a far tougher test, yet Amorim will be hoping for his key figures to step up, none more so than his own answer to Mata…

Looking for positives this season is a tough ask as far as United are concerned, with December, in particular, having been particularly brutal, amid a run of four straight defeats in all competitions.

It is easy to forget, however, that it was just weeks ago that the Red Devils were riding high after adding to Manchester City’s doom and gloom in the derby, with a certain Amad Diallo steering the visitors to a thrilling late turnaround.
Indeed, the young Ivorian has been a real shining light in an otherwise wretched campaign, with it no surprise that the club are set to hand the 22-year-old a richly deserved new deal in the near future.
The former Atalanta star is still yet to play 50 games for the club, yet his impact this season – not just his Etihad heroics – point to a player who can be central to Amorim’s set-up for the foreseeable, with seven goals and assists coming his way in just 11 games under the new regime.
The emerging cult hero could further bolster his growing status by spearheading a much-needed win on Sunday, with it difficult to see just who else will step up and take the game by the scruff of the neck, even with captain Bruno Fernandes returning from suspension.
Equally, who better to try and emulate that man Mata than Amad, with the one-time Sunderland loanee also a left-footed, creative “wizard” of slight stature – as described by journalist James Copley.
Likely to operate in that right channel where Mata did his damage at Anfield almost a decade ago, you wouldn’t bet against the £28.8k-per-week maestro producing another glorious, memorable moment of his own on the grand stage.

وقال رافينها في تصريحات لشبكة “TNT Sports” البرازيلية: “أُبلغت يوم أمس بعرض من السعودية، وبصراحة، تفاجأت كثيرًا لأن الأرقام كانت كبيرة جدًا، لو عُرض علي هذا العرض العام الماضي، أعتقد أنني كنت سأوافق”.
وأضاف: “كنت حينها في حالة نفسية سيئة، وكان العرض سيغير حياتي بالكامل، وحياة زوجتي وعائلتي أيضًا، يقول إنه لم يكن ليقبل في مثل هذه الظروف، فهو يكذب، لأنه من المستحيل تجاهل مثل هذه الأرقام وعدم التفكير في التغيير”.
ورغم ذلك، شدد اللاعب على التزامه الكامل مع برشلونة في الوقت الحالي، موضحًا: “كنت أظن أن لدي الكثير لأقدمه هنا في أوروبا، لا زال لدي ما أقدمه لهذا النادي، ولا زالت أمامي فرصة كبيرة للاستمرار في تمثيل منتخب البرازيل، هذا ما جعلني أتجاهل المال، وأتطلع أكثر لأحلامي”.
رافينها يعيش موسمًا مميزًا مع برشلونة، حيث ساهم في تحقيق لقب كأس السوبر الإسباني، ويواصل المنافسة على ثلاثية محتملة مع النادي الكتالوني، ما يعزز مكانته بين أبرز لاعبي الفريق هذا الموسم.

Ben Stokes, England’s captain, expects the feelgood factor from last week’s victory in the first Test against New Zealand at Lord’s to carry over to Trent Bridge this week, as he reminded his players to keep having “as much fun as you possibly can” in an England shirt.Stokes himself made an important half-century in England’s run-chase at Lord’s, before Joe Root’s unbeaten century sealed a gripping match by five wickets. But even if England had lost, the team’s new positive vibe was notable through the four days of the game, from the returning veterans James Anderson and Stuart Broad right through to the debutant seamer Matt Potts.And for Stokes, to secure a victory for England in the first Test of his new partnership with head coach Brendon McCullum was a major boost, especially after a bleak run in which the side had won just one match out of 17 over the previous 15 months.”It’s fantastic,” Stokes told Sky Sports. “To come into the second game here with the win under our belts straightaway, with me being captain and Brendon as coach, it’s obviously better than losing.”But one of the great things that I found out is just how much fun it’s been,” he added. “Sometimes with the pressures of being an international cricketer, and going out and delivering performances on a weekly basis, [things] can get challenging, but we’re playing for England, we’re doing a job that we all grew up just playing as a hobby.”And I think everyone’s just really enjoyed themselves, because at the end of the day, when you’re playing for your country, the first and foremost thing is just to make sure you have as much fun as you possibly can.”It’s a far cry from the careworn approach that England took to their cricket over the previous year, most particularly during the Ashes when the side was still having to deal with the restrictions of Covid bubbles, not to mention a run of sapping defeats.For Stokes himself, however, the upbeat attitude is particularly encouraging to see, given his well-publicised struggles in 2021, when a badly broken finger caused him to take an indefinite break from the game and led him to fear whether he would ever be fit enough to play at the highest level again.”You don’t get many greater honours than to represent your country, and if it’s not fun and enjoyable, then it’s probably time to call it a day,” he said.The lighthearted approach was visible during an intra-squad football match during training, with McCullum and James Foster, England’s wicketkeeping coach, taking up residence between the posts for a penalty shoot-out.”I shouted out to [McCullum] I can see why he gave up,” Stokes joked. “It was a bit harder to get past [Foster] than Baz. But that energy that Baz has brought has just been a lift for everyone. It’s just been great having his enthusiasm and his energy around the group.”With no Trent Bridge Test in the schedule for next year’s Ashes, this week’s contest could yet turn out to be a home-ground swansong for one of Nottinghamshire’s finest, Broad. Stokes, however, doesn’t expect Broad to need any extra motivation to give his all to the cause, especially after his critical intervention on the third morning at Lord’s, when three wickets including a run-out fell in the space of three balls in his third over of the day.Related

“I don’t think he needs much inspiration,” Stokes said. “Every time he wears the three lions, he goes out there and tries to give it his all. He and James [Anderson] set the example last week. It was great to see two guys, who have accomplished amazing things on the field for England, charging in like they did last week. It was inspiring for even myself, as well as all the younger lads, so I hope they can do the same again this week.”[Broad] loves playing at Trent Bridge,” he added. “It’s where he’s played all his cricket since he moved from Leicester, and he’s got some great memories here, probably the best one is his 8 for 15 against Australia. But every time you walk onto the field playing for England at your home county is very special.”Stokes himself had caused some concern about his fitness with an uncomfortable stint during England’s nets session on Wednesday, but confirmed he will be fit to play a full part as an allrounder.”It’s just body stiffness, wear and tear,” he said. “It’s just about being more sensible in our training, because when you get out there and cross that line, you obviously want to do everything that you can to help win a game for England.”Despite England’s victory at Lord’s – their first in eight Tests against New Zealand – Stokes acknowledged that their opponents were perfectly capable of battling back in the remainder of the series, both this week and at Headingley in the third Test.”We’re very evenly matched with New Zealand, especially in English conditions,” he said. “Any overheads suit both our bowling attacks so we know that every time we go up against New Zealand it’s never an easy ride. The game pretty much went to the wire until day four. And we don’t expect anything less [this time].”

وكشف بيكهام، عن المفاجأة القوية عبر شبكة “CBS Sports”، وقال: “أشجع دائمًا ريال مدريد في إسبانيا، ومن المضحك أن مانشستر يونايتد قد باعني إلى برشلونة”.
وأضاف: “كنت في عطلة حين اتصل بي بيتر كينيون (رئيس مانشستر يونايتد السابق) وقال إنهم قبلوا عرضًا من برشلونة، فقلت له إذا كنتم ستبيعونني، فإن النادي الوحيد الذي أنا مستعد للانتقال إليه هو ريال مدريد”.
وتابع: “لطالما كان لدي حلم اللعب لنادي ريال مدريد منذ أن كنت طفلًا، لم أكن أعتقد أنني سأغادر مانشستر يونايتد، ولكن إذا اضطررت لذلك، فقد أردت أن يكون الانتقال إلى ريال مدريد”.
واستمر: “إذا أراد مانشستر يونايتد أن أرحل، فعليه أن يكون من أجل ريال مدريد، كان عليهم التراجع عن الاتفاق مع برشلونة، وخلال يوم ونصف فقط، تم كل شيء”.
يُذكر أن بيكهام انضم بالفعل إلى صفوف ريال مدريد في صيف 2003، ليكمل آنذاك فريق الجلاكتيكوس الذي ضم كوكبة من النجوم، رغم أن المشروع لم يحقق النجاح المتوقع على مستوى البطولات.
